The 2024 legislative session was a significant milestone for our organization and for the future of naturopathic medicine in our state. Our proposed bill received a warm reception and garnered substantial support, culminating in a successful House Committee hearing. We are proud to report that our bill was voted to pass through this critical committee—a testament to the positive reception and the compelling witness testimonies that underscored the importance of our cause.

During the hearing, our intentions were met with understanding and support. The powerful witness testimonies presented by our dedicated members and allies resonated deeply with the committee, highlighting the vital role of naturopathic medicine in promoting holistic health and wellness. Although our bill did not progress further in the 2024 session, the momentum we developed was historic and has set the stage for future success.

Looking Ahead: Building on Our Foundation

Our journey is far from over. We are currently channeling our energy into a robust fundraising campaign to ensure that we can hit the ground running in January 2025, when the next legislative session begins. The off-season is a time of strategic planning and preparation, and we are committed to making every moment count.
