Dr. Emily Hudson graduated from Bastyr University (Washington campus) in 2017 with a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree as well as a Master of Art in Counseling Psychology. She holds a license to practice naturopathic medicine in Kansas and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. In early 2018, she moved back to her hometown of St. Louis to provide high quality, ethical, and holistic education to clients. She also practices as a licensed professional counselor at Persimmon Counseling, LLC in St. Louis.

Vice President

Dr. Matthew Cowan is a Naturopathic Doctor with a thriving practice in Columbia, MO. He holds a license to practice naturopathic medicine in Oregon. He is passionate about providing safe, high quality care to his clients.

Secretary

Dr. Owens-Todd graduated from a four-year, Naturopathic Doctor degree program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. In addition to providing quality holistic education to her clients, she also acts as Research & Development Manager with a vertically integrated, Medical Cannabis operation. Jamila provides high-quality practitioner and patient education on plant medicine, cannabis safety, dosing and use and has recently joined St. Louis University’s Cannabis Science and Operations Program in Cannabis Pharmacology, as an Adjunct Professor. Jamila is committed to using science, in order to provide practical, reliable and accessible therapies to patients.

Student Board Member

Emmalyn is a 3rd year Naturopathic Medical Student attending Sororan University in Arizona. She hails from Kearny, MO and hopes to return to her hometown to practice naturopathic medicine when she gradutates. This is one reason why Emmalyn is passionate about helping MOSNP achieve its goals of establishing licensure status in Missouri.
